Discoveries: Beyond Beef

Being curious by nature and always adding to cooking options, I figured I should check out Beyond Beef.  I was pleasantly surprised.  
I decided to make a pasta bake with it.  So I fried it in a pan with some seasonings.  The pieces that were not brown reminded me of ground pork and the crispy, brown pieces of hamburger.  You could tell it wasn't either item, but the texture was similar.

It is expensive and not something I will go to often, but the nutritional value and ingredients included passed my picky eater test of wanting good quality food and not just a filler pretending to be food.  

It's definitely something worth trying out.
