Blackened Salmon (GF, dairy free)

Pour 1 TBS oil in pan.  Place a filet of salmon, skin down in the oil.
Sprinkle on 
Black pepper
Paprika
Garlic powder
Dried chopped onion
Salt

 Turn burner on to medium.  Fry until the skin is crispy.  Then flip the filet and brown the seasoned side until the flesh is almost completely cooked. 
Turn the burner off and let the filet finish cooking.  Do not overcook or the meat will be dry.
