Broiled Balsamic Portabellos (GF, Dairy Free, Vegan)



Broiled Balsamic Portabello Mushroom
Ingredients
Portabello mushrooms
Balsamic vinegar
Olive oil
Salt
Black pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Thyme
Rub the top of the caps with olive oil and the ribbed underside with about 1 TBS balsamic vinegar.
Sprinkle on salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and thyme on the ribbed side.  Place under the broiler.  Broil until the mushroom gets soft and moisture raises up.

Flip and season the top of the caps.  Broil until it stars to lightly brown.

If you want to eat this as a sandwich, pretzel buns work fabulously with the mushrooms.

I like to butter one side of the bun and place a cheese slice on the other.  Then broil the buns.

Mayo and dijon mustard pair nicely with this.
If you want to add guacamole, a simple one is avocado, tajin, onion powder, salt and fresh cilantro.
Add lettuce leaves and enjoy.
