Early spring, sometimes I feel a bit burdened by heavier winter foods. Often the edema worsen about now. This drink combo has become a great pick me up.
3 carrots
1 cut up and seeded apple
3 celery ribs
1 handful washed parsley
1 English cucumber
Small, peeled piece of ginger root
Juice from 1 freshly squeezed lemon
Pour water over the ingredients to about 3/4 full. Cover and give a whirl.
The pulp will seperate from the liquid. So give it a stir or shake before serving.
